With over twenty years’ experience of teaching graphic design at degree level in the UK, as well as delivering workshops in the UK and across Europe, I am uniquely qualified to offer expert guidance and feedback to designers who are looking to develop their mastery of the design process. My particular specialisms are in typographic design, design systems, colour systems, design process, editorial and print design.

I offer 1-1 online tuition and mentoring structured specifically to each participant’s requirements. Following an initial free-of-charge diagnostic session via Zoom to identify and agree criteria for exploration, a series of hands-on task-based assignments will be devised to allow participants to work off-line and in their own time in their chosen areas of study. 

Feedback on work in progress is via Zoom or email and each assignment will be reviewed over a Zoom call.  

A typical short course would comprise 4–6 assignments which are designed to be completed at the participant’s convenience to suit their work / life schedule. Courses are taught individually on a 1–1 basis and have no specific start date or timetable. Session timings are flexible, and depending on the particpant’s time zone, can be arranged for during the working day, early mornings pre-work, or evenings.
