The course offers graphic designers and creatives in related professions, from recent graduates to experienced professionals, an opportunity to explore typographic and systems-based design at a fundamental level.

This may be to revisit core principles with a fresh perspective, or to address for the first time fundamentals not covered in the participant’s design education.

Participants completing the course will produce a body of typographic work suitable for inclusion in a professional portfolio. Assignments are structured as realistic design briefs including exhibition announcements, book covers, editorial spreads and poster systems.

Extended modules are also offered for exploration of specific topics in more depth.

All course and extended modules are taught individually on a 1–1 basis, allowing detailed feedback and discussion via Zoom specifically related to each participant’s work.
